ABOUT
INSTIL PHYSIO
At Instil Physio, I use physiotherapy and education to empower and support female athletes in achieving their health and sport performance goals. By combining sports medicine, pelvic health, neurofunctional acupuncture, and female athlete health, we provide a foundation for the comprehensive care of every athlete that I work with.
Females have unique needs and physiology, which must be understood and incorporated into their health, rehab and training. Puberty, pregnancy, postpartum peri-menopause, and menopause are experiences that are unique to women and have an effect on health, injuries, training and performance. With the right support and education, women can thrive throughout their lifetime participating in fitness and sport.
My ultimate goal is to advance females in sport and create lifelong athletic participation. I strive for excellence in my practice and can provide you with the tools you need to reach your health and sport performance goals, at any age or stage of life.
Mission: Supporting, Empowering and Inspiring females in lifelong fitness and sport participation
Vision: Empower | Inspire | Educate

CEO & Founder of Instil Physio Inc.
Hello! Thanks for checking out my website, services and resources. I really hope you find something that helps you with your health, fitness and sport goals.
You're here to learn a bit about me, so here it goes.
I am a registered physiotherapist with a Masters of Advanced Health Care Practice in Sport and Exercise Medicine. I am a Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Provider, Neurofunctional Sports Performance Practitioner and I hold my Diploma of Sport Physiotherapy with Sport Physiotherapy Canada. I am the founder of Instil Physio and creator of She Moves. My practice focuses on empowering and supporting females in their health, fitness and sport through education and physiotherapy. I blend my education and training in sports medicine, pelvic health, neurofunctional acupuncture, exercise and female athlete health to create a comprehensive foundation of care for all athletes that I work with.
I obtained my B.Sc. in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa and went on to complete my M.Sc. in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. I have continued with my pursuit of excellence in education and practice throughout my career. I am an Instructor with the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program and I have taken several other courses such as the Advanced Sports Performance Practitioner Certification, Meridian Dissection course, Advanced Needling and soft tissue techniques for the elite athlete, and the Functional Sports Medicine Masterclass.
Most of my career has been dedicated to supporting the female athlete at all stages of life. My passion to provide better information and care for female athletes has led me to develop She Moves, a series of programs to empower girls and women to stay in sport and active for life.
My love of working with female athletes comes from my own history in sport. My parents were both athletes and I cannot imagine my life without playing sports. One of my most memorable accomplishments was competing at the Mounted Games World Championships for equestrian sport as a member of Team Canada. I also love playing court and beach volleyball! Like I LOVE it! I also enjoy running, working out, and walking my dog, Tuckamore. Travel is my favourite way to spend free time and it usually includes a multi-day hike through mountain ranges, volcanoes or tropical rainforests with my partner, David. I have a young daughter who keeps me on my toes. Our family travel looks a bit different with her, but still has hikes and adventures, just shorter ones, planned around nap time.
